A new poll asked people, “How often would you want there to be music playing when you go to restaurants, cafes, or bars?”
18% of people said “always,” 28% said “usually.” another 28% said “sometimes,” 9% said “rarely” and 5% said “never.”
Not surprisingly, older people are less into music being played. Women are much more into listening to music than men. 22% of women say they’d “always” want some kind of music playing, compared to just 14% of men.
Of course, this was just music in general and a lot of people may have a different opinion based on what genre the music is, how loud it is and the level of talent, if it’s live music.
