Answer: Marriage
Clues: “Union” and “Vows”
A new study published in Cancer Research Communications reveals that marriage may lower a person’s cancer risk. Researchers studied adults in 12 states. They found never-married women have an 83% higher risk of cancer while unmarried men have a 68% higher risk than married people. The scientists concluded; “It means that if you’re not married, you should be paying extra attention to cancer risk factors, getting any screenings you may need and staying up to date on health care.”
