A new survey by Realtor.com reveals that 58% of adults who moved away from home later moved back, including 15% who have done so multiple times. Other findings:
– 75% of adult children say living with family is a smart financial strategy.
– 63% of adult children say they no longer feel embarrassed or judged about their living arrangements
– 62% of adult children say the stigma around moving back home has faded.
– 45% of adult children say unaffordable housing is the main factor driving them back home.
– 26% of adult children moved home to deliberately save money.
