Answer: Guests

Clues: “Table” and “Chairs”

Butterball released its annual Thanksgiving report and they claim the food itself is not the top thing we’re looking forward to.

“Spending time with family” ranks first, food is second and relaxing is third

Here are a few stats on what the average Turkey Day will look like this year:

1.  The average Thanksgiving will have nine people.  That’s down from 10 a year ago.  Fewer guests makes it a tad cheaper, so that might be why.  58% of people said they won’t make any changes to save money this year though.

2.  Hosting can be expensive, and stressful in general.  Only a third of hosts say they feel “confident and calm” going into it.

3.  One in five Thanksgivings will be a potluck.  21% of hosts will ask guests to bring part of the meal this year.

4.  89% of people polled said they’ll celebrate Thanksgiving.  And 84% will have turkey on the table, up from 82% the last two years.

5.  What’s your favorite Thanksgiving food?  Take these with a grain of salt since a turkey company did the poll.  But turkey ranked first, followed by stuffing, pie, sweet potatoes, and mac-and-cheese.
