Answer: Amazon

Clues: “Retail” and “Delivery”

Tuesday and yesterday were Amazon Prime Day. A study found Alabama, North Carolina, and Tennessee are the states that love Amazon the most.  Wisconsin also ranks as one of the highest Amazon spending states at $113.66 a month. The national average is $91.75. The five least obsessed states are Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Oklahoma and Connecticut.

A website called Numerator followed the top Prime Day purchases and apparently, the hottest item this year was Temptations Cat Treats. Rounding out the top five were Amazon Fire sticks, Liquid I.V. hydration packets, toys from the company Melissa & Doug and beauty products.

The average product cost around $30.  Roughly 60% of people who made a purchase bought more than one thing. The average total spend was about $150. Around 80% of all Prime Day shoppers were women. Also, the older you are, the more likely you were to shop.  Two-thirds of shoppers say they were very satisfied with the deals this year.  But over half still compared prices with other sites before they checked out.
