Answer: Halloween

Clues: “Celebrating” and “Friday”

A survey asked Americans to rate how much they love Halloween on a scale of 1 to 5 and then compared the responses across all 50 states.

In the end, the states that are the biggest Halloween fanatics are:  Delaware, Idaho, and North Dakota, which all scored an average of 4.2 out of 5.

The state with the least Halloween spirit is:  Arizona, scoring an average of 3.7 out of 5.

Wisconsin also isn’t that into Halloween (3.72). Although, it says more than eight in 10 Wisconsinites take decorating their home for Halloween seriously.

By the way, the average American purchases 4.5 bags of candy per season, with most opting for the large or party size bags.

And across the country, Americans purchase around 745 million pounds of candy during the Halloween season every year.

The most popular types of candy are chocolate, followed by chewy candy and fruity candy.
