Answer: Our doctors
Clues: “Diagnose” and “Medical”
A new survey asked people how they’re using A.I. like ChatGPT to manage aspects of their health and learn about potential diagnoses.
35% of people have asked A.I. health questions, and 63% of them think A.I. is “trustworthy.” That’s more trustworthy than social media (43%) and “influencers” (41%) but less trustworthy than doctors (93%) and friends (82%).
24% of those people have asked A.I. to fact-check information they’ve received from social media, friends, and their own doctors and health professionals.
Fortunately, most people are using A.I. more like they used Google, for the latest health and wellness trends, and tips on diets and exercise and not to self-diagnose serious issues.
