A survey of 2,000 parents with school-age kids (ages 5–18) found 50% plan to save as much money as possible by buying school supplies earlier than usual, while 45% will turn to meal prepping and planning.

58% of Millennial parents say school supplies are too expensive, mainly because today’s kids need more stuff than they used to.
