This is not meaningless. What is it?

Answer: Your job

Clues: “Pay” and “Check”

A poll found most Americans do feel like their job has meaning.  62% said yes, 18% aren’t sure and 20% feel like they’re just keeping a chair warm.

College grads were a little more likely to think their job does make a difference.  So were people with classic “office” jobs that involve meetings and emails.

If your job doesn’t involve those two things, there’s a 31% chance you feel like you’re just spinning your wheels to earn a paycheck.
