Who has the better social life, you or your dog? A doggy day care place polled 2,000 owners. And almost two-thirds said their dog has a more active social life than they do.
Here are a few stats from the poll:
1. 63% said their dog gets to hang out with its friends more than they do. “Friends” meaning other dogs they might see on walks, or at the park.
2. 54% said their dog has a “friend group.”
3. 69% said their dog has a best friend.
4. 91% agree it’s important for dogs to have an active social life.
The top reasons include: It makes them happier, they’re less lonely, they’re more loving and it makes them more confident.
