Answer: Exercise
Clues: “Jumping” and “Jacks”
Newsweek magazine says a new study by the University of North Carolina Greensboro reveals that just 9 minutes of pre-class exercise can improve a child’s test scores. Researchers found that high-intensity interval training had a significant impact on standardized test scores. They had one set of children take a rest break at their desks while the second set did exercises. The exercising children scored an average of 8 points better than their inactive classmates. Exercises, like air squats and jumping jacks, were done in place without equipment.
