Answer: Crocs

Clues: “Ugly” and “Shoes”

Pet Crocs will be available on Crocs.com starting Oct. 23

The appeal of Crocs is one of humankind’s most mind-boggling mysteries.

We don’t wear them because they’re luxurious or because they look cool or because they’re supportive, high-performance footwear.  It’s almost as if we wear them in spite of all that, because they’re just, easy?

But there’s a new report out that warns parents about how they could be destroying kids’ feet.

A podiatrist who treats kids and teens says she’s seeing issues that come from wearing Crocs all day, every day. “Structural issues like heel and arch pain, hammertoes because you have to grip the shoe to keep them on, so the toes are overworking.”  They also can lead to blisters.

Basically, they’re fine for casualwear once in a while, but only wearing Crocs can take a toll on feet, ankles, and even the rest of the body.
