Someone polled 1,500 golfers across the U.S. to find out which states drink the most beer while pretending they’re being “athletic.”
In first place is Florida, where the average golfer drinks 4.8 beers per 18 holes. Texas is next at 4.6, then North Carolina and New Mexico at 4.3. it’s a three-way tie for fifth – Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Missouri at 4.2 beers a round. Wisconsin drinks 3.6.
Golfers in Utah drink the least, just 1.1. Then it’s Massachusetts, 1.6, Vermont, 1.6, Nebraska, 1.7 and Washington, 1.7.
