Answer: Mishaps

Clues: “Unfortunate” and “Accident”

That’s one every four or five days.  And 87% say they’re usually unavoidable. The most common mishaps include texting the wrong person, saying hi to a total stranger, forgetting to put your phone on silent and trying to unlock your car before realizing it’s not your car.

Other everyday mishaps:

Getting on the wrong train or bus.

Laundry mistakes, like shrinking stuff or turning it a different color.

Forgetting to cancel a subscription you never use, so it renews again.

Being a no-show for something, because you forgot you made plans.

Sitting on the remote and changing the channel with your butt.

Accidentally blasting music because your headphones weren’t paired.

Following your GPS, then realizing you punched in the wrong destination.
