Answer: Health related apps

Clues: “Program” and “Download”

According to a new survey, the average person regularly uses six different health-related apps and 22% of people have 10 or more.

That includes daily activity trackers, like step counters and exercise goals, nutrition apps, like calorie counters, sleep tracking tools, heart rate and blood pressure monitors and virtual care portals with doctors.

For many people, these can be great things that provide motivation, awareness, and accountability . . . but it can become a burden.

43% of Americans say they’ve felt overwhelmed dealing with their digital health tools, and half of them have experienced “health app burnout.” Especially if they feel pressured to manually log data, or other kinds of regular check-ins.
