A new dating poll found 88% of Americans have been in love before, 74% have been dumped, 70% have had a crush on someone who didn’t like them back and 52% have had a one-night stand. 62% have lived with someone and been engaged and 53% have been cheated on.
9% have been in an open relationship. Men were twice as likely to say they’d be interested in an open relationship, 20% vs. 9% of women.
The top five reasons for not wanting an open relationship are: It just seems wrong, a general lack of interest, jealousy concerns, you wouldn’t want to deal with multiple people’s emotions and finally, who has the time?
