Answer: Basketball fans
Clues: “Support” and “Hoops”
The college basketball tournament starts today, so an annual study just came out that ranks the best and worst cities to live in if you’re a fan.
Researchers looked at 297 cities with at least one Division One team and then ranked them according to things like winning percentage, ticket prices and how passionate fans are on social media. They also break it down according to how big each city is.
First place overall this year goes to Los Angeles, with four Division One teams: The UCLA Bruins, CSU Northridge Matadors, Loyola Marymount Lions and USC Trojans.
The lowest ranked city, in 197th place, is West Haven, Connecticut. It has the University of New Haven and it’s also about 10 minutes from Yale.
