A study found men are more likely to say “I love you” first. The average guy says it 107 days into dating, compared to 122 days for women.
Researchers had over 3,000 adults in seven countries fill out relationship questionnaires. And pretty much across the board, men were more likely to say “I love you” first.
The average guy starts thinking about saying it 69 days into a relationship, compared to 77 for women. But both wait over a month to actually pull the trigger.
The average man will say “I love you” 107 days into dating, or about three-and-a-half months in. For women, it’s 122 days, or about four months in.
