A new poll found 7 in 10 adults feel like they have to act happier this time of year so, faking that Christmas spirit.
1. 69% feel like they have to act happier than they really are around the holidays. The other 31% either don’t feel that pressure or don’t care enough to even pretend anymore.
2. 57% would describe the holidays as stressful. Just 23% would describe them as relaxing.
3. If you’re just trying to get to January, you’re not alone. Only one in five said they feel sad, disappointed, or depressed when the holidays are over.
4. Too many parties can be exhausting. 75% said some holiday events feel more like an obligation than a fun time. Two-thirds of us might skip one or two of them this year.
