For all of us women who ride our own

You go girl!

Looking for a ride this weekend?

This Weekend's Challenge

Rustic Roads

The Elephant Rally

More than 5000 bikers every year since 1956 face hard weather conditions and extreme cold temperature (up to 20 below zero) to take part in the hardest riders’ meeting: the historical Elefantentreffen.

On the last weekend of January, near the border with the Checz Republic, the little town of Solla lives its moment of glory among the motorbike's lovers.

For most of the people the big challenge is the way itself to arrive on the departure line, but also the show (it’s not a race) has its special charm.

Nevermind the cheesy music, you gotta check out the video

You can get more info on it here

I managed to ride....ooooh just under 150 miles over the weekend. I had to stop around Midnight Saturday due to the ice forming on my shield. Nice to see some of you out there. Argh...where did our fall riding season go?

CEDARBURG, Wis. --
A motorcyclist died on Sunday after he collided with a vehicle being driven by an accused drunken driver, police said.

Cedarburg police said the motorcyclist was on Wauwatosa Road near Sherman when a car made a turn and hit the motorcycle.

The motorcyclist, Master Sgt. Patrick LaLonde with the 128th Air Refueling Wing, died at the scene.

Late Monday afternoon, prosecutors charged John Kastelic with killing LaLonde.

According to the criminal complaint, Kastelic failed several sobriety tests given to him on the scene. He is charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and hit and run resulting in death.

LaLonde had been with the 128th for 18 years. He was a full-time active duty guard.

I mentioned in an earlier post that I was going to the Annual Side Car Rally in Anamosa, IA last weekend. I had to share this picture with you from the Museum.

Fall Colors

If anything good can come out of the end of summer, it's the fall colors. I really looking forward to taking a ride this fall to check out the foliage. If you know of a great route, let me know! I'm keeping my eye on the fall color report

Rustic Roads

I'm hoping to find some Rustic Roads this Labor Day Weekend.

Win Tickets!

I mentioned in an earlier post that Knucklefest is going on this weekend - well listen to Gasman all week for your chance to win tickets!

Carrie Wendt went to the Moto GP! Jealous

I can't wait to talk to Carrie Wendt about her trip to the Moto GP over the weekend!! Read about it on her blog

As for me this past weekend - I took a Motorcycle Safety Riders Course. Much fun! Very educational! I recommend to any rider - from beginner to experienced - to take one of these courses! No shame in becoming a better rider!

See you there!

Looking forward to the annual Sidecar Rally in Anamosa, IA - We go every year! Check out the museum while you're there and stick around for the Hill Climb on Sunday!

Let's Ride!

Looking for one last run before the ideal riding season is over? (I say ideal because we ride year round when we can right!?)
