Game Play
The Bud Light Shoot For The Championship Tournament will be conducted according to the following rules:
1. Each match will be a head-to-head team competition consisting of one 35 second round. The final round will be played as a best two-out-of-three series. The first team in the final round to win two games is the winner.
2. To qualify for the national tournament in Las Vegas, teams must be co-ed. Once play has started, no team member may be substituted.
3. Teammates must stand across from each other at the same table.
4. Game starts when the Bud Light official signals “go”.
5. Teams have 35 seconds to score as many points as possible.
6. Tokens that land in the outer circle of the goal earn 2 points; tokens that land in the inner circle of the goal earn 3 points.
7. All shots must be bounced . Shots that are not bounced, but land in the goal, do not count.
8. Players may collect their rebounds and shoot them again, but tokens that land off the table may not be collected and reused.
9. Players may not reach into the goal . Reaching in to the goal will result in disqualification.
10. Team with the most points – combination of two and three pointers – wins.
11. All referees’ decisions are final. There is no post-match arbitration allowed.

Winning the Game:
The team with the most points wins the match and advances in the tournament to the next round of play.
The tournament continues until one winner per night of promotion is crowned the “best-in-the-bar champion,” or, as stated in the rules, a first round winner. (The number of “best-in-bar champions” will be determined by the number of promotions executed. For example: one bar hosts a tournament five times, five “best-in-bar champions” will be crowned, with each champion advancing to the next stage, the Local Tournament). These champions will then meet for the Local Tournament showdown, ending with a single “local champion.” Each wholesaler “local team champion” will advance to Las Vegas to compete in the national finals of the Shoot For The Championship presented by Bud Light!
